A TRIBUTE TO KEN RAND

I have a 12 gallon tank in each outboard wing and this is the dual Facet fuel pump arrangement I have installed. The pumps are located under the pilots seat, are independent of each other and draw fuel from only one tank This way I can draw fuel from either the left wing tank or the right wing tank. The fittings used are all AN-6 and the fuel line is 3/8" OD x .035 wall thickness. The fuel shut off valve as seen in the photo below is located just in front of the main spar on the left fuselage wall. An easy access location for the pilot. I will run only one pump at a time and the second is an auxillary back up should the need arise.
